Product Description：Labetalol hydrochloride (trade names Trandate and Normodyne) is an effective antihypertensive drug that blocks alpha and beta-adrenergic receptors of the sympathetic nervous system (leading to a decrease in blood pressure). It is available in a tablet dosage form, which may be difficult to administer to geriatric and pediatric patients. It is a white or off-white crystalline powder, soluble in water. It is an adrenergic receptor blocking agent that has both selective alpha1- and nonselective beta-adrenergic receptor blocking actions in a single substance.
